“Pros: Good location. The apts themselves are spacious, with plenty of closet space and large rooms. Cons: Slumlord won't make any upgrades or even fix things in the building. Kitchens and bathrooms are virtually unchanged from the 1960s. Elevator is often broken. Management company is not responsive. Roof leaks. Laundry room is often filthy. Advice to landlord: Take ownership seriously and do more than collect rent checks.”
