“Pros: Lots of light Good neighbourhood Quiet neighbourhood Good size for 1 bed Cons: Rats in the garbage right next to entrance guaranteed every night to see one. Seal the garbage cans!!! Mouse in apartment Cockroaches (big ones!) In apartment even though I was very clean and tidy No 7 days a week maintenance response (they take alot of holidays) Low battery fire alarms seemed to wake me up every month Cameras everywhere Advice to landlord: Sort a cleaner garbage system out with sealed bins”

“Pros: Has cameras, small building, secure mail. Cons: Not very clean, stairs are dangerous, not well lit and the railings of the building are about to fall off. Infestation of pretty much everything. Advice to landlord: Reinforce stairs and handrails, improve lighting inside the building, keep your exterminator coming back monthly.”

“Pros: Relatively cheaper than other options Cons: Rude landlord - I saw the landlord in the building once and when I approached to ask him a question about moving out, he rudely and aggressively responded that he can’t talk right now while he just stood there. I didn’t receive my damage deposit -The place was spotless when I moved out. -They never provided my with a reason. -no one responded Located over a club Plenty of water bugs Numerous days of no hot water in winter. Advice to landlord: Improve on your tenant customer relations. Treat people with respect.”
