“Pros: Doormen are amazing Good amount of space Never really had bad Maintenance issues Lots of laundry machines Cons: No dishwasher Leasing/management were idiots Super noisy hallway Heard every step of upstairs neighbors who would run around at night? Heard every bark of every dog in every direction Doors slamming would wake me up every day I didn't last a year bc of the noise”
— 1749 2 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: The maintenance is really responsive and replaced a fridge, dishwasher, did mold remediation and repainting and pest control over the years. The AC/electric is included as a flat $20 a month per AC unit. The doormen are very reliable, helpful and friendly. The floorplans are good sizes/shapes for furniture layout, and the building has nice views, even from the 2nd floor laundry room, which has a view of the park next door. Cons: Construction noise was ongoing and some hallway noise is loud. The rental office was difficult to deal with for the application and renewals due to slow response times. The rent increases after covid discounts were steep -- rent went up over $1K after two renewals (450 and 550 each). Advice to landlord: Give reasonable renewal offers and have the rental sales manager improve response times.”

“Pros: $20 for all you can use heating/air conditioning, maintenance quickness, size of the apartments, laundry in building Cons: management is a little slow responding, will have to consistently call and email to get a response”
— 1749 2 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: The building staff are excellent. They really take care of the building and tenants. My apartment was in great condition and any issues were resolved quickly, within an hour or two. Cons: Leasing office is kind of incompetent. Only two elevators on one side of the building and when building staff put one of them out of service for trash collection or people moving, it can take a while to get an elevator. Advice to landlord: Hire better leasing office staff”
— 1749 2 AVENUE · Manhattan“Unit T Pros: Clean, well maintained, responsive management team, friendly door people. Flat monthly $60 fee for utilities. Cons: Some neighbors smoke in the apt and vents are connected between units.”
— 1749 2 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: The building has their own team of handymen, so they fix issues really quickly. Friendly doormen. Located so close to Q station. Cons: Small garbage chute. No other complaints. Advice to landlord: N/a”
— 1749 2 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: I loved the doorman here. Really personable and safe. The young ones are often irresponsible but can get around that. Elevator speed and place was always clean. Maintenance responds quick. Cons: Building went a little down after two years. Laundry room is convenient yet something was always broken there. Elevators are always broken and something is not going right.”
— 1749 2 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Package room, laundry in building, clean Cons: Neighbors, no in unit laundry”
