“Pros: It’s a place to live without roaches and the neighbors aren’t loud. The neighborhood is really lovely and bustling. Cons: Water damage and mold issues combine with a super unresponsive landlord to form a miserable stuffy summer. The apartments are small and there is poor ventilation. Advice to landlord: Have an actually responsive landlord or super who actually come and fix problems. Building desperately needs work. Stairs are falling apart for example.”

“Pros: Inexpensive and large 2 bedroom, big kitchen, very nice and helpful super, lenient landlord Cons: Rat/mice Infestation, Two rooms without windows, slant in floor, I had to buy a smoke alarm, one time the floor above us leaked through our bathroom ceiling, my radiator leaked, and I had to make heat complaints at least three times in two years Advice to landlord: Stop using the sticky pads for mice. There are more humane options. Make sure there are smoke alarms.”
