“Pros: Super keeps building and sidewalk clean, nice people Cons: The floors are so incredibly bad at preventing noise from above. When people come over, they say they’ve never heard anything like this Street noise is very loud, even in back facing apartments. It’s all concrete behind the building I think the honks echo through there, never had this issue in other UES apts Advice to landlord: Enforce rugs as mentioned in lease”

“Pros: Nice community, generally quiet Cons: The floors are paper thin. I can hear everything my upstairs neighbors does, every step, their TV, even when they open a dresser drawer”

“Unit 3E Pros: Units are great the tenants are awesome and the building common areas are usually very clean Cons: the intercom system is almost nonexistent, building super absolutely does not answer the phone/ is not a huge help and is not very nice, and package management is so poor you can almost expect packages to get stolen, even though all are delivered inside the building in the lobby. Advice to landlord: get better supers, replace the intercom system, incorporate a better package system”

“Pros: If you’re polite and nice to the super and the handyman, they’re great. If you aren’t, you’ll get it right back. The building is well maintained, I’ve only had to call in 1 work order in a year and a half. Cons: Some neighbors have pets that piss in the hallway. This street is very loud with truck traffic. Advice to landlord: Get a little more involved, I’ve never seen the landlord or anyone from corporate walk the property.”

“Pros: nice neighbors but thats about it Cons: terrible maintenance , rude super, terrible repairs and responsiveness Advice to landlord: take basic interest”

“Pros: While it is a prewar building, it’s really nicely maintained- the lobby is always spotless and garbage management is really excellent. The super and his assistant are lovely and always ready to help with any maintenance issues that come up. Cons: One of the elevators breaks down frequently (but to be fair, is usually fixed within 24-48 hours). The laundry room doesn’t have a lot of machines, and is locked after 9 PM. Also, not the building’s fault necessarily, but the street is way louder than you’d think (truck traffic, construction, garbage trucks etc).”

“Pros: Amazing location, apartment, and management! Cons: Super lazy and unresponsive super, pest issues... Advice to landlord: Get the pest issues under control”
