“Pros: The bathroom is fine. Cons: Everything else. I have had mold, mice, broken lightbulbs, no hot water, you name it. The super does not ever respond. I've dialed 311 countless times. it's horrific. avoid living here at all costs, landlord is a slum lord. Advice to landlord: Get a new job.”

“Pros: - Maintenance responses fast to important issues like losing electricity - Neighbors were reasonable quiet and respectful - No bugs - Despite the issues, its still one of the better deals in the area for this price range if you're renting through sites like StreetEasy Cons: - They took months to fix a ceiling leak that eventually broke a part of the ceiling - Heard barking all day once from my neighbor's apartment. No soundproofing so you can hear everything. But neighbors are overall mindful about their noise levels - Old appliances like oven and fridge need repairs or replacements. Air conditioner works well for both heating and cooling though - Area can feel unsafe Advice to landlord: Don't be dismissive/annoyed about issues and concerns tenants call about. Work on a better maintenance and communication system.”

“Unit 3A Pros: Clean. Wall units make it so you can control your own heat and AC. Cons: Hot water has gone out a few times and it’s often been a struggle to get the super to fix it.”

“Pros: People living in the building are great gets good light Cons: Exterminator 1x per month, but mice still in walls sagging floor super is non responsive or shows up on your fire escape unannounced building management team is awful landlord is a crook Advice to landlord: fire your management team”

“Unit 1D Pros: Location Video/Voice intercom (sometimes broken) Cons: Terribly managed by landlord Non-responsiveness to tenant issues Heating system broken or faulty (heating and cooling is an electrical window unit) Frequent pest issues Poor landlord communication (for scheduled work, construction, etc.)”

“Pros: The location is excellent, kitchen renovated and functional Cons: The floor was uneven, bathroom tiny, packages often stolen, and pretty much no heat (unless you turn on the electric heater and thus pay for it yourself) Advice to landlord: Better security for packages”

“Pros: It was close to a park. Cons: The day I moved in there was a bad leak in the apartment. Upon inspection, it was clear that this was a very old leak that was covered with fresh paint. I kept after the landlord. For a year, I had to cover my bed with a tarp every time it rained. There were rodents and roaches, a crack house down the street, my packages were stolen weekly, the buzzer never worked, and the landlord would ignore me about everything- until my boyfriend called. Then he was all ears and all promises! Advice to landlord: Don’t put profit over the well being of people.”
