“Pros: The locations is just about perfect. The maintenance staff is friendly and responsive. The building has a charming garden and onsite laundry. Cons: Building management is terrible. Slow to no response, even for an emergency. They are particularly bad to rent stabilized tenants and they try to get rid of them by ignoring repairs. Once they do actually repair something, they use the worst service people and repairs fail and have to be repeated again and again. The heat and hot water if out on average once per month. AJ Clarke are effectively high-class slum lords. Advice to landlord: Stop treating rent stabilized tenants like dirt. Stop overcharging new tenants who don't have stabilized leases.”

“Unit 1s Pros: The older neighbors in the building are all really sweet and iconic. The maintenance man, Francisco is awesome. It’s reasonably priced below the market & it’s fairly kept Cons: The superintendent is god awful and super mean.”
