“Pros: Clean building, decent sized 1 bed for one person. And the maintenance man is very kind and helpful. Cons: The property management company is an absolute nightmare to work with. Advice to landlord: Get a new property management company.”
— 525 9 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Decent price, very close to any transit you could want. Probably an easy commute to anywhere in the city. There were cockroaches but management paid for an exterminator and I've only seen one or two since. Cons: Not super specific to the building -- the area just isn't the most fun place to live. It feels like you're living at the back of PABT, because you are. Garbage collection times are somewhat annoying. Advice to landlord: Figuring out a different garbage collection system would be great.”
— 407 WEST 39 STREET · Manhattan“Unit W4A Pros: - affordable for manhattan - heat and water pressures are great - building management is easy to reach (through online portal) Cons: - noise. Noise Isolation between units is great, but can easily hear outside noise - In the summer, the units get unbearably hot. Might just be my unit but AC is a must essentially continously.”
— 407 WEST 39 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 2D Pros: Good location to trains and Manhattan access Cons: Cockroaches with proximity above restaurant, noise from Lincoln tunnel traffic, exorbitant rent increases”
— 523 9 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: The only pro to this building is that it is in 10 minute walking distance to Port Authority, Penn Station, the A/C/E, 1/2/3, N/Q/R/W, and 7 trains. Cons: The external noise level was terrible, especially since the windows would always close. The entrance to the Lincoln tunnel is 3 blocks away so the traffic noise is always bad during rush hour and the hotel across the street has their garbage pick up between 2-3am. The street level door did not always lock, and the lock would get jammed so you didnt need a key sometimes to get in. There barely any, if any at all, pest mitigation done in the building. Nice, ants, cockroaches, etc all time of the year, especially with the building being on top of a restaurant.”

— 525 9 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Landlord and Super, location, Cons: Nothing except covid Advice to landlord: Keep doing a great job”
