“Unit 2E Pros: The superintendent, Isaiah is great. Cons: Management, roaches, no heat, 350 rent raise, management. The leasing agency and management are co-owners. They make you put down the first month rent and security deposit before giving you a lease. As soon as they have your money they are awful. They wouldn’t let me move into the apartment until the 15th and refuse to acknowledge that the lease is up on the 15th not the 31st. There is no actual recycling. They put it all in black bags. My apartment was freezing and they refused to fix my heat or subsidize the cost of the space heating bill. They are rude and the WORST I have dealt with in my 20 years in NYC Advice to landlord: They don’t care.”

“Pros: Rent stabilized apartments, good location. Cons: Horrible management. Don’t ever expect to get your security deposit back they are thieves. Disgusting building with trash everywhere and lots of rats and roaches. Advice to landlord: Clean the building properly. Be better at your jobs.”

“Pros: Apartments are a decent size for the neighborhood; management always answers the phone or responds to messages; the super is nice! Cons: The halls are dirty, there’s often big piles of trash bags in the lobby, and once every every 12-18 months there’s a big roach infestation. In the interim you see giant water bug carcasses in the halls here and there. Thankfully I’ve only had a few enter my apartment over the years.”

“Pros: Quiet, super is very responsive, landlord is also responsive. They regularly do pest control. Cons: Neighbors keep leaving their recycling inside on the ground floor instead of taking it outside. Sometimes the recycling isn't even washed so there's food and the risk of attracting pets is higher. Advice to landlord: Enforce stricter rules and make the other tenants bring the recycling outside.”
