“Clean, always well maintained and responsive to issues or requests. Great staff and big apartments compared to others in the neighborhood. I love living here and I enjoy the amenities as well. Deliveries are also handles very well!”

“ONE THING FIX RENEWABLE PROCESS FIX I hope you guys listen to me it terrible if guys do not that issue that really bothers me one thing annoys the Christmas Party used in party room it felt more warmly and private it does not feel like anymore and residents that I know that are still round from time I was here feel the same.Also give month notice about the Christmas party it would help or any events that happening I heard from residents that talk to me not enough notice about events I do not if improve that was mentioned to me events are not same as they used people are saying I am not sure I was not here there must events before 2013 my husband never mentioned not me because he been here since building went up”

“It’s been great bar the toilet situation which needs to ideally be replaced altogether so we don’t have to keep fixing it and the loudness on the floor. Not much noise cancellation through the walls and the neighbours sometimes make this feel like a frat house”

“A lot of dogs leave poo and pee anywhere, including hallway, stairs, elevators, and so on. Many dogs do not have a leash, which it is not nice. The cleaning at the building is so bad, they do not frequently do cleaning as much as they can.”

“It’s pretty good. Everyone in the building is friendly. When I have any maintenance requests, staff respond quick. The location is good, we have many subways nearby so it’s easy to go everywhere. Overall I think this is a good building and apartment.”

“I have had such a great experience with this building and its staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. The building itself is always clean, feels very safe and secure, and is clearly well-maintained. I truly appreciate the positive atmosphere-highly recommended!”

“I've loved my experience at Archstone. Have called it home for the past 20 years. Everyone feels like family. The building is always nicely decorated and well kept and staff are professional, friendly and courteous.”

“wonderful staff goes above and beyond. maintenance is incredibly quick and respectful. only note would be for outside to be finished and for some more amenities like sauna etc. so there is no need for additional gym memberships.”

“Overall: reprehensible. The sales team misrepresented the terms of a lease renewal and have been overcharging me for months. Additionally, the building staff refuse to respond to habitability and safety issues, which is a clear and unassailable violation of New York City tenant law.”

“800 Sixth has been amazing! The apartment is incredibly spacious and has everything I could possibly want in an apartment! Everyone who works in the building has been nothing but warm and welcoming! Great place to live”

“We do not recommend living here at all. The management office is incredibly difficult to deal with, and we've had to beg them to treat us like humans while resolving an issue. They are not helpful and we've stopped bringing issues to them because we get more pushback than help.”

“Went way down hill. Neighborhood went downhill, management does the minimum. Getting appliances replaced is an ordeal. 7 eleven draws a homeless crowd that hangs there 24/7. Would not recommend, at all.”

“The community is great! I love the building is always clean. I always feel safe and happy. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. I enjoy the area as well. There are great restaurants and coffee shops!”

“Very good in general. Lobby is always well maintained and smells good. Location is awesome, walkable to almost any place in Manhattan. Doormen are super nice, always polite and handing my packages quickly and nicely. Just hope the amenity space could stay open for a little later.”

“I love the building and especially the staff. I am disappointed with the manner in which the rent was handled, as it rose 12% from the time I signed my lease in Jan. 2022 to to the time I got my renewal lease 9 months later. The rent is above market and this building is rent stabilized. Also my annual registration falsely added $400 to the "actual payment" which is not appropriate. Having lived here for 9 months, I have made this place my home, and now it would be costly and aggravating to move and undergo another change of address. This rent hike is designed to take advantage of that situation, which is inappropriate.”

“In all the buildings I’ve lived in in my ~10 years in New York, 800 Sixth has been far and away the best. The entire building staff is incredibly kind and helpful, management is incredibly responsive, and the maintenance team is quick, efficient, and extremely helpful. As cliche as it sounds, they really do make this place feel like home.”

“Fantastic and seamless leasing/move in process. Jeremy from the Leasing Office is the best and all of the doormen and concierge are so kind and welcoming! Marcus is especially great!! Would highly recommend the building to anyone.”

“Great building and team, always prompt on service especially the concierge teams and maintenance teams, full of stars. Has not always been perfect but overall have been very happy with my experience here.”

“Pros: Great doormen, clean lobby Cons: -No cold water in kitchen -Broken dishwasher -Front door doesn't fully close -some HVAC units work, some don't -Floor splitting apart -Closet doors fall off of track -Elevator breaks frequently -Hole in ceiling of gym never repaired - just a bucket for leaks -Hallway carpets are filthy Advice to landlord: Have some pride”

“The building is very well maintained. The staff is fantastic. The neighborhood is excellent. I'm glad I decided to move to this building. You won't find better value in this area. Moving here will be a great decision.”

“Its it great and everyone is friendly. Love the gym wish the outside space was open more this summer. The building is always clean. Elevators can be a little slow sometimes. Laundry is always available.”

“The building is gorgeous, the staff is incredibly helpful. Its a joy to live here. From Jamilet in Leasing to all three doormen I feel well taken care of. The views/amenities are unmatched. I had a rush move to NYC from LA and they made it seamless.”

“Surrounding neighbourhood has gotten very dirty, and there is now a very high population of homeless in all of the surrounding blocks.. Not sure if the building can do much about this.. but it is definitely a big negative I have found.”

“I absolutely love the environment and community I am in at 800 6th. In addition to this, I really enjoy the amenities that the building has to offer. Couldn’t have asked to find a better place to live!”
