I am disappointed with the manner in which the rent was handled, as it rose 12% from the time I signed my lease in Jan. 2022 to to the time I got my renewal lease 9 months later. The rent is above market and this building is rent stabilized. Also my annual registration falsely added $400 to the "actual payment" which is not appropriate. Having lived here for 9 months, I have made this place my home, and now it would be costly and aggravating to move and undergo another change of address. This rent hike is designed to take advantage of that situation, which is inappropriate.”
