“Unit 2R Pros: Trash was usually quickly picked up, never too smelly or gross. Cons: Cockroaches on the steps and in hallways. Managed to get through the pipes into apartments no matter how clean you kept the place. Advice to landlord: More frequent exterminations”

“Pros: My unit has recently been renovated, so it looks nice and updated. Appliances are decent and the bathroom is especially nice. Cons: My apartment gets very little sunlight except for in the bedroom, unfortunately. The building itself is on the dingy side, and the street below (Amsterdam) can get pretty noisy at night. There’s also nowhere to store your bike. Advice to landlord: I suggest making sure the newly renovated units are not done as cheaply as possible; that will cause you even more problems down the line.”
