GOLD TILLARY REALTYLLC · avg 3.6 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: Great roof, classic, awesome loft-style apts, building maintenance crew is awesome. Cons: After allowing lease to lapse and zero communication, landlord will suddenly try to raise rent by 25-30% and employ scare tactics to make it happen. Utilities incredibly expensive—there is little to no thermal insulation.”
— 170 TILLARY STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Great neighbors, great roof, pretty responsive maintenance, Beautiful light. Close to so many subways. Cons: Ceilings are super high so it's hard to heat, not my favorite city block honestly, the laundry in the basement is sometimes pretty congested.”
— 170 TILLARY STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Great building manager and building team. All the neighbors are super kind, the building is well maintained w/ unique apts, apts keep cool in the hot weather, and the roof is amazing. Cons: Very noisy area, hard to heat the apt due to the lack of insulation, and the hot water doesn’t last very long. Landlord let leases lapse and then jacked up the rent, and is seemingly turning the building into living for college students w/ more tenant turnover.”
— 170 TILLARY STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Responsive super, new laundry machines in basement, very cute and artistic loft apartments, friendly apartment staff who take out trash, help move things, and maintain the building Cons: Poor insulation, the apartment was freezing in the winter and hot water was only good for 20 minutes. Fire station and police station right around the corner so extremely loud when they’re out and the apartment faces the mouth of the high way so a lot of truck traffic as well”
— 170 TILLARY STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Rooftop with great view. Cons: Right next to fire station and big roads so it was hard to sleep at night. Elevator is man operated so stops after 11 or so and had to walk up to 6th floor most of the time.”
