“Pros: Good walkable location. Cons: Management is not super responsive. Saw a few cockroaches (dead) from time to time.”

“Pros: I live in the back of the building so noise levels are low. Location is AMAZING. Cons: My actual apartment I have loved. It has been a great 1 bedroom. Management is awful. I have been spoken to on several occasions in a very unprofessional manner mainly on the phone but then differently via email. There has been many instances where the entire building has been without hot water with no concession to help aid in the inconvenience. Management handled my lease renewal/negotiation process very unprofessionally. I didn’t have a smoke/carbon monoxide detector in my apartment for probably 8 months after moving in when I brought that to attention immediately. I have had multiple repairs remain un-repaired for extended periods of time after constantly asking for them to be done. One of which was an insanely loud pipe in my bedroom. Honestly the list goes on with management unfortunately. Advice to landlord: Responsiveness and proper communication with tenants is a must. Speaking to tenants in a professional manner is beyond important and shouldn’t be brought to attention. Having empathy when major repairs are effecting tenants quality of living is important as well.”

“Pros: There's are no perks in living here besides the area Cons: Everything. But let's start with human shit in the garbage area. Maybe it walked there by itself, considering anyone can waltz in the building. Broken doors is the only constant. Dead bugs everywhere. And the guy who " sweeps" likes to steal pacakages Advice to landlord: When someone gets robbed or worse, the blood will be on your hands.”

“Building management are unresponsive, unhelpful, and borderline corrupt. Building security was non-existent - the front door never closed properly without forcing it closed, so anyone could walk in. You feel like a battery hen in this place. Avoid, avoid, avoid.”

“Management is dishonest - there is no onsite super and the building is filthy. Calling their office to handle any issues with maintenance gets ignored. There is overwhelming garbage overflow. The stairs are narrow which makes moving furniture really hard. The building extremely unsafe with loads of Airbnb coming in and out of the apartment because management airbnb's their vacant units. Great neighborhood and cool things to do, but avoid this building. i wish i did.”

“Frequent cockroach infestations. Despite having an exterminator visit the apartment at least twice and cleaning our apartment vigorously, hordes of cockroaches came back to haunt us. The heat during winter is unbearable and there is no way to control the heat in the apartment. There is leakage on the ceilings from the tenants above us and the noise from tenants on weekends is unbearable! Live here if you enjoy cockroach droppings and a staff that fails to answer phone calls regarding blown-out lights, cockroach infestations, and clogged drains!”

“Just be aware of what you're getting into when you rent in this building. Heat and hot water frequently (multiple times per month) go off-line. The building has inadequate trash removal so the bags pile up which always draws foot long rats. Mice in the units are common. Renovations within the units are done on the cheap- no quality craftmanship here. The hall ways are barely maintained. Perhaps once per month a man with a dirty bucket of water rubs down the stairs with an even dirtier mop. Really all this does is redisperses the dirt. The stairwell gets painted once very couple of years but only the first couple of floors and then not the hallways- just the stair well. Every other emergency light works so when there's no power you're in the dark. There is at least one very mean dog in the building just waiting to get loose. When it does someone will definitely lose a limb.”
