“Unit 4A Pros: We have lived here 20+ years. The live in super is outstanding, him and his wife keep the building common areas clean, the garbage/recycling rooms on each floor get emptied numerous times a week. They mop the floors from top to bottom at least twice a week. The owners are responsive and very family friendly. The apartment sizes are amazing, you can’t beat intact prewar apartments! Cons: My only con that the building has any control over is the pests. Seeing roaches and even mice is not uncommon. I am a lifelong NY’er so I know those are common in older buildings but the monthly pest management guy doesn’t do much. Advice to landlord: Invest in better pest management and sealing up all of the cracks in the apartments.”
