★★★★Dec 2025

Pros: the location was amazing, very close to the Lorimer L subway station and the food in the area is awesome. the layout of the apartment is very beautiful and the appliances are mostly new. the super is incredibly responsive and helpful. Cons: the shower did not drain all the way (tub floor was warped). there were some pest issues. i had an outlet fire and the super would not get an electrician to me within 24 hours so i had to hire my own (there was a smell and smoke on the outlet). the laundry situation also kind of stinks... there's a laundry machine/dryer in one machine but my machine was always breaking down and it would take weeks for their team to get a repair person to my apartment so i felt like i was being cheated out of an apartment with true in unit W/D.

Unit 1 Pros: great location, decently sized units, in unit laundry !!!!! (at least in my unit), super quiet street. landlord is responsive about issues which is really nice, and the building is always decently clean and super quiet. Cons: heating has been a bit tricky and has gone out a few times this season.

Pros: The apartments are well layed out and neighbors and super are friendly Cons: Ownership takes a lot of shortcuts when it comes to maintenance. The heat does not work well, the roof leaks, and there is currently a pest infestation that has been going on for several months

Pros: Great location near the trains and lots of bars/restaurants Cons: Not a good place to work from home. Paper thin ceilings/floors and people stomp around like maniacs 24/7. A lady lives illegally in the boiler room and constantly screams/laughs hysterically…super creepy and irritating. She has gotten worse and threatening to neighbors since she’s gotten several noise complaints. The building also has extremely loud radiator pipes. This is right next to Kings Co restaurant so all the delivery men honk and rev their engines outside our building. Rent keeps going up despite no curb appeal or any work being done to maintain the building. Advice to landlord: Kick out the illegal basement squatter. People pay too much money to live here to deal with her. 1st floor tenanrs should also be notified that someone is living in the boiler room before signing the lease. The building interior also needs a lot of work.

Pros: Location location location Cons: The building is old. The radiators are old and leak throughout the building. Caused the ceiling to collapse. Building mgmt fixed but no discount. The shower and tub does not fully drain. mgmt would would not. Exposed pipes make a lot of noise when heat is turned on from anyone in the building.
