“Pros: Close to the Hudson Yards, High Ceilings, Furnished, AC in unit, Gym, Laundry in building Cons: Dirty, Oven smelt like gas, bathroom was gross - not cleaned when I moved in. Security staff is rude. Advice to landlord: Live in the NYU dorms.”

— 728 42 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: I always loved living in Kaufman. One of the better dorm rooms that FIT offers. I would recommend living above the 10th floor if possible. View is amazing if you live on the higher floors. Clean for most part and laundry always working. Cons: Neighbors, people being loud in hall. Each room is different sized. If you have a problem with your roommate, they will do nothing about it.”

Water pressure is great, two trash chutes on either end of the hall, most neighbors are respectful and quiet. Cons: Cost did not equal the quality of residence. Security was frustrating at times, and due to COVID FIT did not allow visitors. Advice to landlord: Let non-dorming FIT students into the dorms!”
