“Pros: Close to A/B/C/D and 1/2 stations Cons: Inconsistent heat and hot water No building-wide communications Property managers WILL gaslight you and do the bare minimum to “fix” issues This is not a non-smoking building No live-in super Package theft”

“Pros: The landlord can seem a bit scary but the guy actually cares about his property and it reflects how each unit is maintain. The renovated apartment are put together nicely. Friendly neighbors. Management team were friendly. Cons: Sometimes there were a few german roach problem (exterminator showed up every month) which can be control by buying roach poison from amazon. No live-in super which means most maintenance issues will be resolve when the office is open (M-F). Advice to landlord: Install cameras in the lobby”

“Pros: Apartment was recently renovated, lots of natural light, close to transportation Cons: Unit was very small. The heating pipe in my room was so loud I had to sleep with earplugs, and I complained to management for months but they never did anything about it. Never did anything about the awful bug problem either - there wasn’t regular pest control & there really should have been. Also the garbage situation was very inconvenient as we had to throw it out in the building next door. Area was also generally super loud Advice to landlord: Keep up with pest control”

“Pros: I loved the renovated entrance, the apartment was completely updated and so nice. The room sizes were very adequate. Cons: It was above a grocery store which was convenient but attracted a good amount of bugs. Manageable but annoying. Advice to landlord: Long term solution pest control”

“Pros: Great location right off the 1 as A trains and above a grocery store. Apt 3 was a really cute spot with lots of natural light, somewhat new appliances, a washer, and beautiful wooden floor. Rather small and cozy. Management was pretty responsive and personally was thinking of renewing the lease but also wanted to find somewhere a little bigger. No doorman but mail was generally safe (can’t recall having mail stolen). Super easy to get the security deposit back which feels miraculous in a city like NY. Ended up moving but would recommend this property and the management for sure! Cons: The trash system is odd and in the building next door to the supermarket, so a little challenging to throw out trash. There is massive construction in the back of the lot, which isn’t the landlords’ fault whatsoever but was annoying some days. Mentioned earlier but apt was rather small but great enough if it’s just one or two of you. No storage, medicine cabinet, or counter space in the bathroom (just a small cabinet under the sink). The hallway was under construction the whole duration of the lease. Not quite sure what was up with that. Advice to landlord: Great job, keep up”
