“Unit 2A Pros: Good location, exposed brick, lighting is adequate. Cons: Unresponsive Landlord and terrible heat. Deceptive, as it has a non-working thermostat. Advice to landlord: Treat your tenants with more respect.”
— 234 STOCKHOLM STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 3B Pros: Stockholm was a quit street and I faced the back. I heard little neighbor noise other than our across the hall barking dog, and the occasional outdoor BBQ outside. Shy light let in a lot of light. Open floor plan had a lot of room. Exposed brick is always nice Cons: The walls are not insulated. I was freezing in the winter and melting in the summer. I drilled a hole to hang shelves once and saw daylight threw the drywall. Bedrooms are fairly small. Sink in bathroom has no water pressure. The landlord also burned us on the way out but signing a lease with new people before ours was up. Went to collect the last of our things (we still had keys) and new people were already moved in. Advice to landlord: Clean the halls more often. I think there was a piece of gnocchi on the level 2 stairs for 6 months. Insulate the walls. Get better sink water pressure.”
