“Unit 1S Pros: Great neighborhood (the heart of East Village) The amount of rent I paid ($1500 per room per month in a 2b2b) is reasonable in this neighborhood. It’s an old building so it’s understandable that sometimes during the winter we might have heat problems. Usually when it happens the manager is on top of it and will get it fix right away. Cons: Super lives in the same building but can’t speak English (only Spanish) so it’s hard for me to communicate with him when needed. The building has no doorman and I’ve had issues receiving packages (1-2 times in 2 years). Advice to landlord: Be more patient with tenants.”
