“Unit 4 Pros: People are friendly. Cons: Pest management is minimal. Someone will come and spray and leave sticky traps but if you have mice, you’re on your own Advice to landlord: Manage apts better so tenants don’t have to pay for other tenants poor hygiene”

“Unit 34 Pros: Cheap (ish) Convenient close to Franklin Avenue metro Old sturdy building with good space allocation Cons: Random charges Slanted . Not level No amenities Super doesn't have an extra key for your apartment Roaches/mice problem Advice to landlord: Level ur apartment out.”

“Pros: Rent stabilized units, quiet neighbors Cons: Could be upkept better, lots of cracks and gaps in this old building which inevitably leads to some roaches. Advice to landlord: Improved maintenance and repairs would be great!”

“Pros: The apartment was pretty basic. Nothing special at the time Cons: We had cockroaches and bed bugs so many times. Each time we reported bed bugs, the owner accused us of bringing them to the building. However, the same bedbug exterminator was at the building all the time. The wiring in the unit was poor. The bathroom light and fan were wired to an outlet. The outlet stopped working for over a year, while the landlord wouldn’t do anything after numerous requests. The Super told us that the apartments were cut in half during the 70s and 80s, which made sense based on the shoulder width hallway inside the unit. People let their dogs roam free in the courtyard and didn’t pick up the dog shit ever. Advice to landlord: Be upfront that the building has a LONG history of bed bugs.”

“Pros: Friendly neighbors always looking out for each other. Cons: Noise level. Construction. Big ass dogs in courtyard pooping everywhere. Advice to landlord: Having rules that apply to all. Gentrifiers getting away with too much.”
