“Pros: The building was nice and clean, I felt safe and comfortable living there and it was a plus having a washer and dryer in the building. The rooms are very spacious and have a lot of natural light which I appreciated. The super is very nice and I did not have any issues living here. The location is also beautiful and is right next to Forest Park, which is nice if you need to see some nature. Cons: The size of the kitchen was a bit of an obstacle, but we made it work by getting extra shelving for storage. It also gets very hot in the winters with the heaters, but that could just be a personal thing. I usually cracked a window if needed. The building itself is about 10-18+ minutes from the LIRR or E/F/J trains and the bus is not always accurate on arrival time which was a hassle sometimes if you were in a rush. Although the peacefulness was nice, I did feel like I had to travel out closer into the city in order to have a night out or do something fun during the day. It is definitely better for families, those okay with the tedious transportation, or older individuals who will spend most of their time close to home.”

— 83-46 118 STREET · Queens“Unit 2M Pros: Amazing location, the Super is the best; he goes above and beyond 24/7, I feel very safe here, they allow pets and don’t charge extra for them, they haven’t raised my rent in 3 years, the elevator never breaks, the heat is excellent, it’s relatively quiet, inside is cleaned daily, outside is well manicured and maintained, 420 friendly. Management is pretty responsive. Apartment is a nice size overall and I like the layout. Always have hot water. Minimal to no bugs. I’ve never had any packages stolen. Cons: Building is old. My windows don’t open and close properly and they definitely don’t lock. The kitchen is from the 80’s and in desperate need of an upgrade. There are only 4 washer and dryers and I think they should add more. My radiator is SO loud when the heat kicks on. Bathroom is tiny. Kitchen is small too, but not horrible. Parking sucks. The street is always congested and jammed up with cars and trucks double parked. Advice to landlord: Add more washers and dryers. Do some upgrades to current tenants apartments, not just new and renovated, higher rent units. Upgrades to the lobby would be nice or a little nicer and inviting decor.”
