“Pros: near decent bars and restaurants Cons: -neighbors on main level are in a band and they would play all hours of the night 3+ nights a week, even on weeknights. they even had horns -washer/dryer in basement had a lot of issues and it was easier to just use the laundromat a block over -landlord is barely responsive, will try to scam you out of your security deposit and return what's left 2 months late -had multiple packages stolen (some within 10 mins of getting delivered) -few blocks from hospital AND a fire station so sirens are constant -on the corner of a busy intersection so it can get pretty noisy -right across from an elementary school so you often hear children yelling/playing from 11 am to 2 pm Advice to landlord: you'd probably find people to rent your apartments if you hadn't raised the rent by $700 during a housing crisis (while providing zero upgrades to the place) and actually returned security deposits without threat of legal action”
