“Pros: The building has large open hallways. The super and janitor are great and always keep the place clean, are very responsive. Cons: The apartment is am old building owned by one of those standard NYC landlords who want to cut corners on everything. The cheapest materials and appliances, zero noise insulation, heat is unbearable in the winter - sleep with windows open in February. It takes forever to evict bad tenants, and you will get no assistance from the landlord when there are issues, so we had to live through multiple bedbug infestations since they wouldn't evict a hoarder in the apartment below. Same with roaches.”
