“Pros: generally clean building and units, thick walls Cons: i miss the old doormen, the new round doesn’t really seem to get the job. also the building piles so much trash outside it blocks the sidewalks”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Clean, new building, great gym, appealing aesthetic and large windows Cons: Typical big building problems - nosey doormen and poor management. The building sends on texts and emails for emergencies, however, a total lack of communication regarding individual units/tenants. Supers are great, however management is what's making me want to leave the building. Advice to landlord: Please communicate with tenants”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Nice location Front desk is excellent Cons: Management could be more response Amenities break often Small square footage for rent”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Quick responses and turnaround on maintenance issues. Clean facilities Cons: I enjoyed my time here. No negatives to report. Advice to landlord: Only wish amenities (gym, lounge) were open later than 10pm”
“Pros: New construction so the bones are solid. Very quiet, nice finishes. Cons: It's very expensive. A lot of new highrises are coming up in the area. Management is not so responsive Advice to landlord: Be more responsive to tenants”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 5D Pros: Mid tier luxury building Cons: Designated quiet hours, heating cooling system was always breaking”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: General staff is absolutely phenomenal! Every single one of the doormen/receptionists, the maintenance team, and cleaning staff are helpful, kind, and friendly. The apartments are very new and have modern, attractive, and functional appliances. Cons: You are forced to pay an additional “membership fee” that gives you access to some of the building amenities, even if you don’t plan to use them. Advice to landlord: N/A”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Modern, clean, friendly staff Cons: Corporate management, in-building community manager is unqualified, some tenants are troubled.. Advice to landlord: Hire a more qualified community manager”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: The place is beautiful with amazing views. Cons: The amenity fees are pretty expensive.”
— COMMERCIAL STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: front desk people are amazing. andi is truly the best. knows everyone by name and always asks how you’re doing and if issues have been resolved. they’re very personable. the units are nice BUT had many issues. location is great and right along the water. surprisingly not loud with the construction Cons: had a massive list of issues upon move in. the worst was having broken AC for our first 2 weeks here during a heat wave. our apartment was 80°. management completely ignores your emails to the point we had to track them down in office. got the email today that on top of the $100 per person monthly amenity fee, we are required to pay a flat rate of $750 if we want access to the pool for the summer which was never discussed in the lease, during the tour, or upon move in. the amenities are also mediocre for what we pay for them. the gym is just okay and the roof has minimal amenities with the exception of seating and grills. none of it is worth the money Advice to landlord: be responsive to your tenants, be up front about fees, quit thinking this building is worth more than what it actually is”
