“Pros: Very clean and great water pressure Responsive maintenance and good amenities. Cons: Harassment, bad business practices, retaliatory litigation, eviction of lottery tenants, short term illegal rentals, inequitable to all tenants Advice to landlord: Stop being greedy scumbags”
— 158 EAST 126TH ST REET · Manhattan“Pros: The building itself is gorgeous in design and idea, but a bit lacking on execution. Nice fixtures and amenities though. Apartments are large. Cons: Management is terrible. Actually criminal as the previous leasing agent embezzled 10,000$ from the building. Not surprising though, considering the funds that were embezzled were probably generated through the illegal short term rental units. It must be a challenge to keep track of illegal moneys earned, right? They discriminate and don’t allow certain people to use the amenities. They enter units when residents are not home. Advice to landlord: Get your shit together.”
— 158 EAST 126TH ST REET · Manhattan“Pros: Building is clean. Cons: Mold in units, maintenance is not the best and paper thin walls you can hear your neighbors even if they whisper. Advice to landlord: Fix mold issues and water damage”
— 158 EAST 126TH ST REET · Manhattan“Unit 929 Pros: Nice layout of apartment and unit. Really nice Reading and Game Room with Amenities, however the management was lazy in responding to issues. Sauna remained dysfunctional for months. Really close to subway ++ . Cons: Lazy and slow management. Broken system, high neighborhood noise and crime level. Advice to landlord: Hire more competent management”
— 158 EAST 126TH ST REET · Manhattan“Pros: Larger sized unit, doorman, pet friendly Cons: Overpriced for the neighborhood, maintenance never really fixes any issues, white floors are a scam — don’t expect your deposit back, neighborhood is a bit sketchy, Advice to landlord: Probably hire a better property management company — they are definitely running the building into the ground”
— 158 EAST 126TH ST REET · Manhattan“Pros: Some units have walk in closets Beautiful apartments and many nice amenities like a spa, gym, rooftop with pool Gym has more equipment than the average gym in nyc Walls are pretty thick Building is pretty quiet, you only really hear the regular city noises from outside 24hr concierge No keys or FOB, you use an app to access the building and apartment Cons: Management almost never responds to emails unless you keep harassing them, and even then that’s not guaranteed. Even if you go in person they don’t follow through on their word Neighborhood is sketch, near 125 and lex (iykyk) Near a fire station so it can get pretty noisy outside through the day/night They changed management twice in one year Advice to landlord: N/A”
