BAWABEH BROTHERS NO. 2 LLC · avg 4.0 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Unit B1 Pros: Huge size for $3900. Big tall ceilings + loads of light make you feel like you’re not in an nyc apartment. It’s fair priced. Cons: Winter here has been tough. Big drafty windows = poor insulation. My roommate and I are emptying our wallets every month when the bill comes. However the middle rooms with no window are overheated. We saw roaches in the summer being above a pizza shop. Champion pizza which used to play loud clubby music until 3am in the morning but luckily we pleaded with them enough to stop. The landlords seem like nice enough guys but they do not have garbage cans for us so we’re just putting our trash on the street which is against the law. They don’t come by the building often because they have all these notices from The city about it. Biggest con about living here is it’s not a very attractive location. Ugly storefronts with flashing lights and lots of foot traffic. But that’s nyc for you Advice to landlord: More responsiveness and checking the door- there’s often city mandated notices and court orders for the trash problem that you guys are missing”

Also very easy to negotiate with when it came to renewing the lease. Cons: No complaints, this is one of the best apartments I’ve ever lived in.”

— 1171 FULTON STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: They have made improvements on the door outside and have been responsive to issues. Cons: The electrical outlets were painted over, sometimes the heat doesn't work. Advice to landlord: Check out the heating system.”
— 1192 FULTON STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 1 Pros: Beautiful unit, with big rooms, and bedrooms filled with natural light. Cons: The living room has no natural light. Because of the neighborhood businesses, you have to be on the lookout for bugs and rats. Advice to landlord: No advice really.”
