“Pros: Location is very central. Decent sized space for the area. Cons: Roaches, mice, constant plumbing issues. Radiators work 50% of the time. Hot water will be off randomly with no notice. ConEd turned the gas off to the whole building for multiple weeks due to the buildings lack of maintenance. Stairwell is dirty, always in a state of "repair".”

— 31 EAST 1 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 2B Pros: I like that my unit is new. Landlord is fairly responsive. Cons: Dirty, leak in ceiling when it rains that has not been fixed, no buzzer for visitors, poor quality fixes. Advice to landlord: Clean up the stairwells/hallways. Add a buzzer for visitors”
— 31 EAST 1 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Great location. Close to a Whole Foods, and good access to the East Village and Lower East Side. Not far from the subway. Cons: Rats, roaches, mosquitoes - you name it, they’ve got it. Management did not even pretend to care. Apartment was cramped and in poor condition. Advice to landlord: I hope you’ve cleaned up your act since I lived there, but if not, please do better.”
— 31 EAST 1 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Good location if you’re an artsy person who loves to party Cons: Rats. Giant cockroaches. Water leaks. No laundry in building. Never cleaned. Druggies hanging around outside all day.”
