“Pros: Great maintenance team, building management could be more helpful Cons: Garbage is a problem”
— 1453 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Good price, decently nice building. Cons: Dealt with roaches frequently (exterminator only appeared occasionally, usually weeks after requesting). The bar downstairs can be loud and open late, causing sleep issues on the lower floors.”
— 1453 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Unit 3N Pros: -Close to subways, grocery, etc. -Nice neighborhood Cons: -Literally INFESTED with cockroaches. I can't stress enough how many there were. (This was in 2017) -Front door would not close and packages would get stolen -I feel like I need to bring up the cockroach thing again because it was awful Advice to landlord: No cockroaches???? Just a suggestion”
— 1453 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Unit 3e Pros: Unit was nice, great south facing light. Conveniently located near Whole Foods, bars, etc. Mgmt sends people quickly. No pest issues. Walls in bedrooms seem thick Cons: Second door in lobby always has problems, either being unlocked or hard to get key to work. Packages get stolen. Constant buzzing. If downstairs neighbors are being rowdy on patio u can hear it. Advice to landlord: Replace the door/lock get virtual doorman”
— 1453 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: High ceilings Good location Clean lobby/stairs Cons: No doorman = constant door ringing Floors are quite slanted Noise issues when rooms face the street or from other buildings in courtyard”
— 1453 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Quick to fix issues Cons: Surprise landlord visits, heat broke a lot”
— 1453 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Great location that is in the heart of UES Cons: The doors were not secure and I had packages stolen all the time. Advice to landlord: Electronic doorman would be ideal”
— 1453 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Location. That’s all. Cons: We had a roach infestation and very little was done to support. The landlord let the new tenant move in before our lease ended while we still had some belongings in the apartment. Our patio was broken into by a drunk neighbor trying to get into the apartment they were locked out of- no support or action was taken. Advice to landlord: Um. Do better?”
