87-89 ATTORNEY STREET REALTY LLC · avg 3.6 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: Honestly good unit with good neighbors. Got a clean gym, clean laundry, and everything. Building feels nice, and the Mail would be safe. Elevator is a huge plus. Also the supers and management are generally very fast to respond. Cons: The heat is not included, and the windows leak. Thus that makes the winters very expensive. Unsure if it’s a building or NYC thing but the water molds up the bathrooms and kitchens quite easily. Advice to landlord: Fix heat and windows. Clear up venting tunnels.”

— 87 ATTORNEY STREET · Manhattan“Unit 1C Pros: - Cleanliness, building staff regularly cleans building and garbage - quiet street since it’s across from a public school but can be a full of litter and suspicious activity at night - install AC for free / store them during winter Cons: - no heat on lower level of duplex - management is very slow to answer maintenance requests / not organized - cockroaches sometimes - washing and drying machines are not the best and will shrink all your clothes Advice to landlord: Fix heat and answer requests in a timely manner”

— 87 ATTORNEY STREET · Manhattan“Unit 4D Pros: Courtyard area is nice. The roof has potential as well. Cons: All packages get stolen Water pressure is not good Very small rooms Needed to use a space heater in the winter”
— 87 ATTORNEY STREET · Manhattan“Pros: When management responds, they’re really nice. The maintenance guy Walter is the BEST. The landlord gave us access to the nicer building next door, so it was super nice to use the amenities. Cons: It’s kind of like living in a frat house… it’s loud outside when the weather is nice. Watch out for the winter: the heaters didn’t really work so we relied on space heaters, and our Con Ed bill got up to almost $800. The expensive bill was one thing, but it was extra annoying because our apartment was STILL FREEZING. Advice to landlord: Getting rid of the virtual doorman would be best. It’s a good idea in theory, but not at all worth all the stolen packages.”
— 87 ATTORNEY STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Location is great and management is responsive. Backyard is great and sometimes landlords give you access to the fancy apartment next door Cons: Hallways are ugly”
— 87 ATTORNEY STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nice manager, once you get their attention they are helpful, remodeling building Cons: Very slow responses, electricity is not saved here. Small bedroom is over $300 on a hot day Advice to landlord: More organization when responding to maintenance requests”
