“Pros: Nice location, laundry in building Cons: mice and loud neighbors”
— 852 HART STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: The location was great, roof access was a plus. Cons: Landlord spent our 1 year lease trying to convince us that our front door actually did lock, and we just didn't know how to operate it. Obviously, the lock did not work. The two basement apartments were consistently freezing cold, not well insulated. There started to be a strange rattling noise in the ceiling a few months in. The garbage outside the building was not cleared enough, often piled up out of control. Rats, rats, rats. Getting anything repaired or addressed was pulling teeth. And finally, the kitchen sick had right-angle corners inside, which is often a sign of a cheap renovation.”
— 852 HART STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Newly renovated, decently sized apartments. No pest problems Cons: Very noisy street with lots of loud music 3-4/7 nights, management not super responsive and didn’t clean or fix existing holes, etc before we moved in. Not well insulated so heating/cooling get expensive Advice to landlord: Mold is an issue!”
