“Pros: Location is great. Newer appliances. Beautiful floors. On a quieter street. Cons: Everybody up at the management office is snippy. Anytime I’ve interfaced with them I’ve had a dreadful time.”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Pros: It was a good first apartment. Nothing great but nothing horrible. Cons: The head could of been stronger Advice to landlord: Fix the heat”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Unit 12 Pros: Never had issues with bugs, management was somewhat responsive. Good college apartment if you’re willing to sacrifice space. Cons: Not an ideal apartment if you value space or thick walls. Advice to landlord: Be more helpful when tenants lose keys”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Laundry in Building and Dish Washer Cons: Location; Packages Stolen; no responsive unless urgent like plumbing or water issues. Advice to landlord: Get a more responsive management team”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Pros: It was within walking distance of great areas although the building itself was in a terrible location. Cons: The building was disgusting with terrible trash management and was infested with roaches. Packages were stolen on a regular basis. I could go on forever. Advice to landlord: Fumigate the building”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Location is convenient and i like the neighborhood Cons: Management company is the worst. Danielle is horrible and rude and doesn’t fix anything. They pose themselves as a company but I’ve only spoken to Danielle- I’ve requested to speak with someone else and she refused. One time i had a package stolen from the building. I saw it in the lobby on my way to work but i was running really late so i left it there. When i came back 4 hours later it was gone. I called and asked for security footage which was a whole other argument- Danielle demanded to know the exact time when the package was stolen and i told her i could only Narrow it down to 4 hours and she was EXTREMELY difficult about it. They sent an employee to the building and i got the footage on a usb drive. There was about 10 hours of footage but the 4 hours i requested was cut out! Also COCKROACHES Advice to landlord: Get a new, competent, management company/new staff.”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Building was mostly clean, had a little patio, laundry in basement Cons: located next to a bunch of halfway houses. they charge rent as if it's located in the heart of the LES but it's actually on one of the worst streets. Move one street over and its great, but here? NO. i walked by people shooting up and smoking crack every single day. ALSO they did not keep the heat on even though legally required to until may. it was freezing for a month in there so i had to call 311 multiple times on them. Advice to landlord: keep in mind you're on a shitty street so rent should be significantly cheaper”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The tenants are nice, the location is great. Cons: The management is incredibly rude. Several times they accused me of missing payments, and instead of rectifying this kindly, they responded with two-word emails. It took six weeks to get a plumber into our unit, and their emergency line for repairs always had a full inbox. Advice to landlord: Be more responsive to tenant concerns.”
— 85 PITT STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Close to train, bars, restaurants Cons: Cockroaches, projects across the street Advice to landlord: Fix the bugs”
