“Pros: amenities, no worry of pests Cons: management super slow, impossible to get reliable repairs”
— 843 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: The price - that’s literally it Cons: - little to no response from management when requesting repairs - building lacks upkeep - elevator breaks every other month - building has SEVERE water damage, I’m sure there’s an underlying mold issue - packages theft at least once a year Advice to landlord: Sell the building to someone who actually wants to manage residents”
— 843 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Lived Great kitchen and bath design. Washer/dryer in unit is the best! Large windows for the units in the front of the windows. Cons: You can smell the weed your neighbors smoke coming through the vent!!! Hated that soo much!!!! Heating bill tends to be high - not the most energy efficient. Only way to contact management is via email.”
— 843 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Staff keeps the building clean. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. Nice units and decent space. Cons: Landlords do not fix appliances in a timely manner. Been having issues with our dishwasher and a light fixture leaking. Advice to landlord: Please respond to your tenants in a timely manner.”
— 843 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 5D Pros: Clean, modern, heating, central air, Rooftop Cons: Mgmt does not answer. The building could be on fire and they won’t respond. Text, email, doesn’t matter, they will not answer. Completely MIA Advice to landlord: Be responsive”
— 843 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: My private terrace Cons: Absolutely no accountability from management. Refuses to repair issues and is unresponsive for weeks. Advice to landlord: A nice building doesn't make up for zero management.”
— 843 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: No issues with elevator, gym is adequate. Storage in basement (additional $100/mo) All communication with management is via email (great for record keeping) Cons: Management is so unresponsive. You never know who you’re emailing with as they seem to have a revolving door of staff. I’ve had a leak in the ceiling that’s gotten progressively worse and my emails have been rarely answered Repairs done to front doors after literally shopping carts of packages stolen have been so poor that The door won’t even open from the inside. Advice to landlord: Answer the emails please!”
