“Unit 3A Pros: - Great location (close to blue, yellow and red subway lines, and 3 bus lines) - Wide staircase - Great views of a patio if you face the back - All the appliances are brand new, fully renovate apartment - Brick walls look great Cons: - Gets very hot during summer, very cold during winter - Paper thin walls. I can hear my neighbor coughing - ButterflyMX doorbell - Common areas (stairs, entrance) never get cleaned - The basement is shared with a bike store which they use as storage - Laundry room will never be built - Cameras are not recording anything - Back area is full of random construction material. If this were cleaned, this could be accessed from the basement for a nice common area facing the patio Advice to landlord: Build the laundry room”

— 829 9 AVENUE · Manhattan“Unit 2A Pros: Hassle free experience for the most part - landlord actually replaced some stuff instead of just landlording it - new light fixtures, medicine cabinet, shower handles. Location is fantastic. Small space but reasonable price. Cons: Saw two or three roaches, ants, and some mice, but they have an exterminator available. Landlord reneged an offer for rent rate on my renewal. Response time is also pretty slow. Also no counters in the kitchen is pretty annoying. Sink has an extra large space in front of it to compensate but just makes your back hurt. Heat also building controlled and unpleasant. Advice to landlord: Do better with heat management and response time for requests.”
