“Unit 6C Pros: Great location, lovely neighbors. Well insulated walls mean you don’t hear your neighbors but there are a lot of street sounds/ambulances. Cons: Mice problem is chronic and remains poorly managed. Management will have the exterminator drop a few glue traps every few weeks which do nothing. Most people in the building have had to take matters into their own hands, patching their own holes, borrowing cats etc. the problem remains an ongoing issue/infestation. Management is reasonably responsive to issues but that doesn’t mean they’ll always be fixed, just that they’ll send someone out. Not one super has seemed to understand what “working from home” is and will demand access in the middle of meetings, ignored time requests, or show up completely unannounced. Park facing units get very hot in summer. Top floor is very hot in winter but radiators can be adjusted. If you have a young, aggressive, hunting cat, could be just the place for you! Advice to landlord: Fix the rodent problem. At the source.”

— 78 PROSPECT PARK WEST · Brooklyn“Pros: Great location! Kind neighbors that look out for each other. Some units are rent stabilized. Management company usually replies quickly via email. The renovated units are well done with nice appliances and finishes. Cons: We saw mice, and so did several of our neighbors. Clearly something going on in the building, and although management would send people to patch up holes but there was no effort to address the root problem or communicate to tenants. The super is overworked -- we've had great supers but it's hard to keep someone because Management makes them look after too many buildings.”
