“Pros: Great location and well insulated for noise Cons: A lot of maintenance issues and difficult to coordinate with super who lived off sight Advice to landlord: Do a better job of keeping building maintenance”
— 75 SUYDAM STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 1 Pros: It's a lot of space, but it's literally a death trap. Owner is a nightmare. Cons: Everything, this place is terrible. Advice to landlord: Do the necessary repairs, actually hire someone to manage your buildings. This is negligence. I wouldn't be posting this review either except to get access to a prior tenants review, which remarks about the constant flooding in the basement which the landlord was not at all upfront about.”
— 77 SUYDAM STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Nice place and amazing neighborhood Cons: The landlord is ridiculous. Not helpful. Disrespectful. Only cares about himself. Any thing that has to been done, isn’t. Never is. Advice to landlord: Treat your tenants well. Be respectful.”
— 79 SUYDAM STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: The super is AMAZING! He’s very responsive and fixed issues ASAP. landlord is also AWESOME, he actually cares about his tenants and I would 100% recommend living with him again. The rooftop is so great, and we loved having a washer dryer in unit. It’s a brand new building, with a decent amount of closet space. Pets are allowed, too, which is great! The views from all the windows are to die for and the apt gets so much natural light. The shower is great. Cons: The stairs are kind of narrow, which made moving in and out a little difficult but not impossible. The hot water would run out after 7 minutes or less in the shower. Small bathroom. Weird layout. Advice to landlord: Get Bigger hot water heater & better internet in the building”
— 75 SUYDAM STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Very spacious basement Washer/Dryer Great location that is central to everything in Bushwick Cons: Apartment was filthy when I moved in despite being a brand new unit Unbelievable amount of loud noise either from outside or upstairs neighbors Oddly shaped bedrooms that limit where you can comfortably place things Tiny closets Exposed water system in "finished" basement Basement flooded consistently Washer/Dryer is of the lowest quality Bathroom sink and shower are subpar Water pressure throughout the apartment is bad AC/Heating system + Built in LED lights run your electric bill into the sky Landlord is unprofessional Advice to landlord: Please learn to be better to your tenants and invest more in actually making a nice living space rather than fake luxury. No help during the pandemic and a serious lack of urgency with fixing any problems, I can't say my experience was good at all.”
