“Pros: The super was great and very helpful. Also, just friendly people in the building. Cons: Prone to pests and random homeless people hanging out in the vestibule by the hallway.”

— 710 AMSTERDAM AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: It’s a nice building with kind neighbors. We were in the interior, so it was really quiet. Packages never got stolen. Cons: There were occasionally some pests - we had to deal with roaches and a mouse. Never major infestations, but they were there. Comes with the old building. There was a club that opened up downstairs that made a lot of noise, and I know this affected people living on the first few floors and in the front of the building.”
— 710 AMSTERDAM AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Clean, helpful super, generally quiet Cons: Occasional cockroaches and a mouse issue in the summer.”
— 710 AMSTERDAM AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Garbage take out and mail mail carrier are easy Cons: People out front sometimes but they are friendly”
— 710 AMSTERDAM AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Nice location, not far from train, safe, mostly quiet Cons: Steep walk up (hey it is NYC), rubbish piles up under stairs, creaky floors Advice to landlord: View the unit before!”
— 710 AMSTERDAM AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Big living space. Some cute restaurants nearby. Cons: Massive cockroaches and its an issue. Also mice. Has a person who lives in the building but hangs out in the lobby all day with trash they collect from the street.”
— 710 AMSTERDAM AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: LL is hands off - let's you live but doesn't really do much to keep up building maintain repsonsibilty. Cons: Bad upkeep. LL had historically illegally rented out units leading to bed bugs in multiple units. Also boiler breaks down every year in the coldest days if winter almost without fail and no rent credit issued. Also he takes your security deposit for stupid things like cleaning the fridge Advice to landlord: Fix the boiler.”
