“Pros: Responsive management, quiet street, quick maintenance Cons: Large bug problem in the summer, location next to Amsterdam prrojects”
— 243 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Unit no Pros: None - it's bad Cons: We had roaches. It's small. The Elevator does not work. The package room attendant is inappropriate. The fridge doesn't stay shut, even when empty. I have to submit a maintenance request weekly. Juliard kids, so usually hear them practicing. The street is noisy, right next to housing projects, and someone was killed there. Also there is mold -- I asked them to fix it and they paint over it. Did I mention the roaches? I hate this place! Advice to landlord: have an exterminator on standby”
— 243 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: • Near lincoln center Cons: • Laundry rooms have few machines • Area is fine, just be aware you are right across some housing projects • Apartments are TINY. Shoebox style living • Bathtub required resurfacing as it was falling apart. Smell did not go away for a couple days • Heater rarely worked Advice to landlord: Rennovate the units. They're old! And add more laundry machines.”

— 243 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 1D Pros: Management is responsive. You put in a maintenance request and someone will call you about it the Next day. Cons: My apartment only had got water. When we tried getting it fixed, they said that’s the best they could do. Advice to landlord: Listen to your workers and hire more workers”
— 243 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Unit PB Pros: Great location, didn't need to worry about heating during the winter. Cons: The apartments get unbelievably hot during the summer. Management is not responsive and frequently sends incorrect information via email, sometimes even to the wrong tenants.”

— 239 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The location couldn’t be better, especially if you’re a college student at one of the schools nearby or work in midtown, but it feels like that’s what a lot of your rent is for. The complex has decent amenities in the other buildings that you have access to through the courtyard area. Maintenance team and doormen are really nice. Laundry is in the building. Neighbors are friendly. Cons: When I moved in, the apartment was in rough shape. It wasn’t clean, and appliances & lighting were still being installed. The kitchen sink is really small, and there’s no dishwasher. Depending on where you are in the building, the window views & natural light aren’t really great. One really big thing is the hot water: it’s really inconsistent, especially in the shower. The temperature will change drastically and almost suddenly. Advice to landlord: The laundry room & appliances need to be cleaned and done so regularly. I also think the recycling could be managed better. The elevator frequently gets stuck and has other general problems like the light being out; these things should also be checked regularly. Finally, hire a cleaning crew before a new tenant to make sure apartments are move-in ready.”
— 243 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 4F Pros: Close to subway, Riverside Park, and CP. Neighbors are now our best friends. Eli the package man makes my day better. Cons: Heat management is not handled well and the building dropped from a B energy rating to a D. The sink is also too small. The apartment receives no direct sunlight. Advice to landlord: Update all sink heads to detachable sink heads and find out why energy rating dropped (if it has anything to do with terrible heat management).”
— 243 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Took care of pests, responsive to emails most of the time Cons: Extensive water damage in apartment and did not receive rent compensation Advice to landlord: You should tell your tenants if there is work being done in the apartment above you and may cause inconveniences such as water leaking through the ceiling and water damage in the bathroom”
— 239 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Pretty convenient location Cons: Very dirty and not well kept. Advice to landlord: Make sure the building is maintained better and cleaner.”
— 243 WEST 63 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Quiet Area, Convenient Amenities and Doorman. Cons: Non Reimbursement from agreement of extra electric cost due to using electric heater. Heat not working. Advice to landlord: Follow through on your agreements.”
