“Pros: Quiet neighbors, responsive management and live in super. Price for a large 1 bedroom with a dishwasher is very reasonable, and the building is situated right on the F&Q lines and can get to 4/5/6/N/R/W in < 5 mins walk. The heat works great, water pressure good. Cons: Need more laundry machines, around $6 for a total load, and the dryers suck. Also have to use Fios which has been very unreliable”
— 1065 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Unit 3B Pros: It has an elevator, in a convenient location and the super is very responsive Cons: Next to 3rd ave so it can get quite noisy Old building with old windows so it doesn't seal out the noise very well There are only 2 laundry machines and 2 dryers. They often go out of order”
— 1065 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Unit 4g Pros: The porter kept the building maintainence well kept, Cons: Building is Prewar so very very sensitive walls, squeaky floors, rent stabilized neighbors who are very rude and smoke, and the landlord pretends she doesn't know whats going on. Not good for anyone with asthma for that matter as management does nothing. terrible washer and drying machine in the building and only has two for the entire building, very overpriced. Advice to landlord: Just because your rent stabilized tenants been there long enough they like to victimize themselves and gossip about new neighbors. They are horrible, even when you try your best to reason with them.”
— 1065 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: clean, spacious for one bedroom Cons: heavy smoke and weed smell. rent stablize tenants are old single and lonely and miserable worse health condition. Advice to landlord: laundry machine sucks”
