“Unit B5 Pros: Management cleans often and is response. Units are well cared for. Cons: Street noise is incredibly oppressive all times of year. Neighbors can be very loud in building. Some mail and package issues with theft but has resolved.”

— 601 40 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Big 2 bedroom apartment with nice details inside (pretty kitchen, French doors on one bedroom, windows in every room). Tub has jacuzzi jets. Laundry downstairs. Walkable to 36 St station. Really nice neighborhood with lots of Mexican/Chinese food. Right next to Sunset Park. Need a key card or to be buzzed in to enter. Cons: You do have to go outside to access laundry. Parking is difficult. You don't usually hear the people in the apartments next to you, but you may hear the people upstairs or in the entrance area. Radiators are noisy. Building gets really hot in summer. Long-standing issue with packages getting stolen from the mailroom if they are too large to fit in your mailbox. Electricity can be faulty so you have to be mindful of what you have running on which circuit, otherwise you will blow the fuse.”
