“Pros: the super is great, responsive, and kind great value for space and location Cons: package stealing the 3 buildings behind this one burned down and the double pane of the windows in the apartment but nothing is being done its pretty janky (elevator breaks often, washer dryer breaks often, gets very cold in the winter and hot in the summer.”

“Pros: It’s in Williamsburg, rent stabilized, relatively close to a park. Cons: It’s next to the BQE, so everything inside is constantly covered in dust even if the windows are closed. Plumbing is terrible, we had multiple floods because pipes burst. It’s an absentee landlord who only pays a super to be there one day a week. If you have any issues you need to handle it yourself. The elevator routinely breaks. Mail constantly gets stolen by vagrants who hang out nearby under the BQE. The building recently had to be evacuated because of structural issues. It’s also very expensive for what you’re getting. Advice to landlord: Take better care of the building and tenants.”
