“Pros: - Under new ownership - No amenity fee - High ceilings Cons: - Supers, despite being live-in, range from unresponsive to openly hostile to service requests - Gaslit tenants for months about roach infestation - Hallways are dingy and rarely cleaned - Charges fees to pay rent - even through ACH - Water pressure is mid - Atypical window size makes it difficult to install A/C - Laundry requires walking outside to access Advice to landlord: Invest in pest management, fire the supers, and restore common spaces”

“Pros: I have lived at 597 for 4 years, I absolutely loved it for the first three. Neighbors are amazing and the units themselves are awesome Cons: In the last year most residents have had problems with roaches (a building issue) and management has not done enough to solve it. I am moving because I refuse to renew my lease at an increased rent for conditions that are worse than they originally were Advice to landlord: Get rid of roaches and get better management”

“Unit 3M Pros: Great place, spacious, near lots of great spots (Prospect Park, Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn Museum, bars, restaurants, Franklin Ave, etc), near trains. Plug your drains at night and you won’t have roaches. Was a great home. Cons: If you work from home know that this area has lots of noisy air traffic. Particularly helicopters fly directly over the building at low altitudes (300ft) sometimes all day every 15 minutes. This made the place too expensive for me in all honesty. Advice to landlord: Stopthechopnynj . Org”

“Pros: Great neighborhood to live in. Very quiet Cons: Some of the prewar appliances like the baseboard heating are a bit funky”
