“Pros: building is modern, appliances were working and no major maintenance issues Cons: We had roaches occasionally which were coming from outside our apartment. exterminators had to come 3 times and sprayed but never found the source of the problem. I suspect it was because garbage was stored in the basement instead of outside on the curb. Management was extremely unresponsive and unfriendly. They increased our rent by $500 a month after a year, were minimally responsive to negotiation and then refused to return our security deposit because we “ did not give notice 30 days prior to moving out” even though negotiations started well before then. Advice to landlord: store trash outside to prevent pests, actually answer calls when tenants have concerns”
