“Pros: Amazing size, great location, friendly super, responsive management. They fixed the hot water in about a day when there was a problem with it. Cons: Frequently had mice in the apartment, no other pests though”

“Unit 1A Pros: The building is centrally located to lots of train lines, restaurants & night life. Cons: The floor plans are small. Kitchen was tiny without a full oven/stove. Functional for 1 person, but very tight if you're planning to live there as a couple/family. Advice to landlord: Lower the rents, I had to pay an increase on my renewal that was much too expensive. Life in NYC can be hard enough without the looming threat of rental increases.”

“Unit 4 Pros: Apartment is big Cons: The neighbor below unit 4 smokes constantly and always smells like smoke in apartment. Advice to landlord: Evict the neighbor”

“Pros: High ceilings, quiet for midtown, good location, exposed brick, decent sized living room, bathroom, and bedroom, responsive management Cons: Cockroach issue is so bad, inconsistent hot water, only one radiator and it doesn’t get very warm, tiny kitchen with outdated appliances, toilet clogs a lot, sink in bathroom clogs a lot, garbage is kept in the building and can stink sometimes, restaurant downstairs uses the area behind the building as ugly storage and smokes outside which comes into the building Advice to landlord: Every other week pest control is not enough. The garbage should be kept outside to help with this.”
