“Pros: Close to a downtown Brooklyn bus. Packages weren't stolen. Laundry was free. The corner bodega was a UPS drop off point. Good location for walking around Bed-Stuy. Close to Saraghina Pizzeria. Skylight in the top floor apartments. Brick walls. Cons: Terribly far away from the trains. Can't get Verizon internet cos the box is likely too be full. Basement door would get broken into, including storage units there. Only one laundry unit (washer + dryer). There was a dead rat in the walls and it stunk up the stairwell and first floor apartments for months. Advice to landlord: Increase the safety of the apartment building”
— 588 QUINCY STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: - pretty on the outside - all new appliances - recently renovated Cons: - don’t look too closely at the renovation - flex units are ridiculous (no living rooms with 3 people) - laundry in basement not cleaned (other folks hair in my laundry consistently)”
— 588 QUINCY STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: The building was renovated in 2019, so nothing has had the chance to really break down yet. Storage units in basement. Cons: Landlord completely unresponsive. Only one washer/dryer for ~18 tenants. Security cameras are not functional. Advice to landlord: Add another washer/dryer. Employ functional security cameras.”
