“Pros: Friendly team of Doormen and women, great package management. Our studio unit was well laid out, and reasonably priced for the area. Overall, it was a nice place to live. Cons: Radiators tend to overheat in the winter, the apartment gets very dry. Third floor hallway always smells of cigarettes.”

“Pros: -doorman -laundry facilities -elevator -pet friendly -no fee Cons: -many apartments face inward and are very dark -difficult to regulate heat -HUGE cockroach problem -half the time the laundry facilities don't work”

“Pros: Quiet, clean, close to the Clark train station and Manhattan, as well as downtown BK. Super enviable proximity to BK Bridge Park and Promenade. Cons: Studios a bit small, and certainly very expensive. Bathrooms extremely narrow.”

“Unit 6HJ Pros: - Best location - Quiet building / thick walls Cons: - The building has a roach problem. I talked to some neighbors who had no issues, but we did and so did our across-the-hall neighbor. Keep in mind that we have no kids or pets and had our apt cleaned every other week. We also used the building-provided exterminator, but when barely anyone else in the building does, it seems like it’s tough to get to the root of the issue. Like I said, it’s hit or miss depending on the unit, but they’re definitely around. - Hallways are a bit dingy. Advice to landlord: Tackle pest management in a more comprehensive manner. Update hallways.”

“Pros: Building is great and fairly well maintained. Elevators work consistently and doorman are the best Cons: Management is shady and scammy, as expected. Slow to respond to maintenance requests or anything involving them contacting you”

“Pros: Staff is amazing, location is great, apartment size for the money is very solid, love the community feeling of the building Cons: Common hallway carpets are stained which is a bummer, but overall good. Advice to landlord: Please clean or replace the hallway carpets.”

“Pros: Great location and doormen Cons: Cockroaches everywhere. You need to spray weekly. The hallways are dirty. Advice to landlord: Vacuum the hallways! Replace the carpets in the hallways! Deal with the bugs! It’s disgusting.”

“Pros: Loved the kind doormen and historic feel of the building! You can't beat the location either. Overall did not have a lot of issues during the year I lived here. Cons: The heat in the winter could get very hot so I would open the windows even when it was below freezing.”
