509-511 WEST 189TH LLC · avg 4.0 ★★★★★ · New York City

★★★★★Oct 2021

“Pros: Quiet building, good amount of space, close to subway station and parks Cons: The response time to get maintenance requests fulfilled is terrible. It took almost 3 months to get basic things fixed (things that should’ve been fixed before I moved in), some of which were safety issues (ex. Having no smoke detectors).”

★★★★★Aug 2020

“Pros: Management is super responsive, and generally very friendly. No bugs in my apartment nor in any of my friends apartments in the same building. My unit was newly renovated, and it was spacious and really well kept. No major issues. Residential neighborhood so pretty quiet at night, and overall not too dangerous. Nearby Yeshiva University and some great Dominican restaurants. Cons: Sometimes in the winter the heating goes off, or the water goes cold. Not regularly. Advice to landlord: Keep doing what you’re doing. Overall, you’re the only truly honest owners I’ve dealt with so far in NYC!”
