467-75 ST. MARKS AVE ASSOC., LLC · avg 3.8 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: It's super quiet - have barely ever heard my neighbors. Cons: Super can be slow to respond to requests but is very friendly and will be there for you if there is an emergency. Many tenants have had issues getting our in-wall AC/heat units replaced. Advice to landlord: Address the AC unit issue”
— 880 BERGEN STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 9F Pros: Outdoor space for pretty much all units, decently spacious units, good light. Low prices for the location and views Cons: Super is stretched very thin for such a big building. More maintenance staff is needed! Advice to landlord: Hire more staff!!”
— 880 BERGEN STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Almost all neighbors are quiet and very nice. There's great community amongst all the buildings in the complex. People look after each other. The location is wonderful. Most units have a spacious balcony or other outside space. The high floors have skyline views. Cons: The apartments are average size and nothing that special without the location and balconies. No laundry in the building but it's across the street and unfortunately not maintained well. The absolute worst part is trying to get anything in my unit fixed in a timely manner. The super is constantly overwhelmed and flaky. I have to ask him 10 times to get him to do anything unless it's an absolute emergency. I can't blame him that much though. Many things in the buildings are falling apart - especially the AC units. He's stretched so thin already - good luck getting that fixed when it inevitably breaks! Advice to landlord: You have to hire more maintenance staff. Service the AC units. Stop giving us excuses about that. Also, improve the laundry.”
— 880 BERGEN STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Rooms are spacious and comfortable. AC works pretty well. It is relatively quiet. Also, it is a 10 minute walk to the 123, 45, but the walk is not so bad because there are a lot of things in the area. Cons: Getting things fixed is difficult. They could invest in another super because the current one seems overworked.”
— 880 BERGEN STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Rent is fair for the building and neighborhood Cons: Packages are sometimes delivered to the office across the street which is only open on weekdays 8:30 - 5:00. No laundry in building.”
— 880 BERGEN STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Undermarket cost for elevator building Cons: No laundry in building More bugs since pandemic Advice to landlord: Install package cages or package room in building”
— 880 BERGEN STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Balconies. Happening location. Decent supermarket across street. Super on premises. Rent stabilized. Responsible managers office across the street to take mail when you’re not home. Cons: Not well maintained. No frills construction. Occasional leaks during storms. Advice to landlord: Needs better security so vagrants stop stealing packages from the lobby”
