“Unit 4b Pros: Great location and access to subways, responsive management. Relatively spacious and updated for the west village. Cons: Scaffolding up for two years, no dishwasher or microwave. Advice to landlord: Lived here for 2 years during Covid. Wondering why rent spiked 50%. We tried to negotiate and management wouldn’t budge because they insisted they could get the rent they wanted in the current market. We moved out and the unit sat empty from august til December 2022. When the unit was finally posted on street easy, it was rented for the price we asked to pay which they refused. Makes no sense given they could have kept us as tenants and the unit wouldn’t have sat empty for 4 months”
