“Pros: The location of the building is great. Laundry and dishwasher work. Cons: Lived in top floor and had the following issues: apartment gets unberably hot in the summer and there are no windows you can open in the living room so there is no air flow, the heating pipe in my room clanged extremely loudly from october to april and was never fixed. I did not have a full night of sleep in months due to the sound. Downstairs neighbor verbally assaulted my roommates twice. We had a rat die in our wall and it smelled really terrible. Advice to landlord: Fix the radiator”

— 442 LORIMER STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Location is excellent. Cons: Mice, leaking ceilings that don't get repaired, cockroaches, ear-piercing hot water pipes, loud neighbors and street life, have to argue with the management to get anything fixed and even then it still usually takes years. Advice to landlord: Respond to tenant issues and learn to understand that every tenant deserves to live in a safe apartment free of pests and damage.”

— 442 LORIMER STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: It was quiet Cons: There was a rats nest under the garbage cans outside, couldn’t get in building without them running over you feet. Also heard them in walls and under our sink. Worst nightmare. Management ignored us and took forever to address. We had to move. This was 2015 or so Advice to landlord: Get rid of rats and communicate”
