“Pros: Small time owner who you can interface with directly, no need to talk with a big building, fixes issues pretty fast, sometimes has an attitude though Apartments are huge at a somewhat reasonable price at the expense of location Cons: Lots of barking dogs in the units around me, elevator and lobby areas regularly smelled of pee”

“Pros: Cheap, decent size, nice neighbors, dog friendly, well-kept, dishwasher, decent closets and bathroom with tub. Manager is nice and responds pretty quickly. No trouble with management. Cons: Sometimes the location is a little rough bc it close to Ave D. Don’t know exactly who my owner is… some stuff needs updating like intercom system and elevator is sometimes working and sometimes not, hot water runs out fast sometimes. Advice to landlord: Nothing. They are nice.”
